About the DT Department • High-quality workshops equipped with industry-standard machinery • 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers and a full CAD/CAM suite • Technician support for practical lessons and maintenance • Broad curriculum including engineering, design, product design and materials technology • Strong performance at GCSE and increasing interest in technical pathways About the Role • Teaching DT across KS3–KS4 • Delivering high-quality practical sessions and supporting theory • Guiding students through design processes, modelling and testing • Supporting coursework and project development • Encouraging innovation, sustainability and creative problem-solving • Contributing to STEM clubs, competitions and design-related events Experience and Qualifications • Degree in DT, Product Design or Engineering • PGCE with QTS • Excellent workshop management and technical skills • Ability to inspire students of all abilities Salary MPS/UPS.
