We are looking for a skilled Electrician and Testing Engineer to join our team, focusing on practical electrical work and inspection/testing in domestic and light commercial environments as well as involvement with renewable energy systems such as air source heat pumps, solar PV and battery storage.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical inspection and testing across domestic properties, and some light commercial environments such as pubs and hotels. Assist in small-scale domestic electrical works as required. Work independently on site, liaising directly with customers and colleagues. Ensure health & safety compliance and follow site procedures. Travel may be required; overnight stays will be required when necessary and expenses reimbursed. Wiring of solar PV systems and Heat pumps Testing and commissioning of solar PV systems and battery storage. On site training will be given where necessary.
Potential for progression to a supervisory role exists for candidates demonstrating strong competence and leadership.
Experience and Qualifications:
At least 5 years of practical electrical experience. City & Guilds 236 parts 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent. 18th Edition wiring regulations. City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent testing qualification. Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Solar PV and battery storage qualifications an advantage
