Overview
We're currently seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Stylist / Groomer to join our busy, vibrant salon. In this hands-on role, you'll lead grooming appointments, delivering high-quality grooms with care, precision, and a personal touch. You'll be interacting with pet owners daily, so strong communication and customer service skills are a must. We’ll support your growth with comprehensive training and development opportunities, including our Earn as You Learn programmes and additional skill-based pay enhancements.
Responsibilities
* Lead grooming appointments and perform grooming tasks from bathing and drying to breed-specific styling and finishing, delivering high-quality grooms.
* Experience, qualified and confident in all aspects of dog grooming, from bathing and drying to breed-specific styling and finishing
* Hold a grooming qualification
* Customer-focused, with a friendly and professional approach
* Flexible and reliable, able to work a variable schedule across six days a week (minimum 24 hours/week with potential for more during busy periods)
* Team oriented, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail environment
* Goal driven, with experience in target-led environments (preferred, but not essential)

* Attractive rates of pay plus commission, subject to targets
