Primary Classroom Assistant - Bath

2. Location: Bath - BA2
3. Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm, term time only
4. Salary: £90 - £100 per day, dependent on experience
Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
A Primary Classroom Assistant role is an excellent way to get your 'foot in the door' to a psychologist career, providing the opportunity to work closely and network with other teams of professionals, gaining relevant experience, and expanding your knowledge and skillset.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
2. Behaviour and pastoral support
3. Work 1:1 and in small groups with students
4. Ensure safeguarding of students
5. Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate paperwork
A great Primary Classroom Assistant will have:
1. Enhanced DBS Check (We can assist with this)
2. Graduate in a relevant field such as psychology or criminology OR a good education background (GCSE's in Maths and English) plus prior experience working with children with special educational needs
3. Ability to build robust and effective relationships with students
4. Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. Caring, compassionate, and a good listener
