As a PPS Operator, you will be responsible for: Performing COSHH assessments on all related substances. Operating competently all PPS equipment. Providing occasional supervision of shifts and of small scopes of work for purposes of personal development. Implementing job programs / procedures including P&ID’s, isometrics, conditions of risk assessments and Company procedures and standards. Performing maintenance on all Company equipment as required. Preparing reports, both written and in system where appropriate. Performing basic calculations for process service applications. Ensuring occasionally a written record of job activities is kept in an accurate fashion and that all chargeable time features on job paperwork. Ensuring the necessary equipment maintenance is carried out as required to ensure job execution performance. Ensuring that all Company equipment has a clean and tidy appearance in order to give the correct impression to the Client. Having suitable knowledge of the Company’s range of services and their application within the industry in order to effect minor changes to job programmes and discuss same with the Client. Promoting the progression of more junior staff members toward further competence. Participating in yard operations as required. Possessing a full working knowledge of the Permit to Work system. Performing risk assessments. Performing standard pumping operations. Rigging up equipment for process services. Attending pre & post jobs as required. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have the ability to demonstrate competence in at least two or more PPS service lines. Have a significant understanding of Pipeline products, services, rig activities and processes. Have Mechanical experience. Have UKNS offshore survival and valid medical. Attain the training and competency level outlined in the LMS. Have exceptional interpersonal skills including listening and oral communication. Be flexible and willing to handle a wide variety of responsibilities Anticipate future situations and plans ahead to meet them. Have previous experience as a standalone pump operator. Have the ability to work proactively with minimum day to day supervision. Hold a UK work permit/passport and not require future sponsorship.
