What you’ll be doing:
Participate in the update of the warehousing infrastructure and processes as required by the business
Operate warehousing processes to meet agreed service levels including receipt, put-away, kitting, unplanned picks, shelf life process and packing
Manage
the picking of shelf life products
Undertake mandatory training to meet the specific requirements of
the role
Your skills and experiences:
Have significant experience in all general Warehousing duties including Forklift driving, slinging and lifting
Be compliant in Electrostatic Discharge requirements when dealing with Static Sensitive Devices
Be flexible to cover all areas as deemed by the Team
Leader
Be diligent and
proactive
when finding solutions to discrepancies when counting materials supporting the annual cycle count

The BAE Systems Broad Oak GFE/Dispatch team:
The successful
candidate
will be part of a team of 9 people covering all aspects of GFE (Government funded Equipment) activities, primarily for our Underwater Weapons contracts.
From receipt and short term storage through to issue for work and despatch.
The role
requires diligent processing to maintain full MoD asset accountability to meet the requirements of Def Stan 05-099 while hardware is with BAE.
The
candidate
will also be required to assist with packing and despatch activities from the Broad Oak site, including forklift operation to load / unload from transport.
