A leading provider of residential care for young people is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead a team across multiple sites in Hampshire. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment where young people with diverse needs can feel safe and empowered. You'll work closely with local authorities, social services, and education professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Key Responsibilities
* Lead with Impact: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of six direct reports, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
* Ensure Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the homes, ensuring the highest standards of care in line with OFSTED regulations.
* Provide Holistic Support: Work closely with the Local Education Authority, Social Services, and the MASH team to provide integrated and effective care for young people.
* Create a Nurturing Environment: Guide young people with complex needs, including Looked After Children (LAC) and those requiring emotional and behavioural support.
What You'll Need:
* Experience: Proven experience as a manager in a residential care setting for young people, ideally with an understanding of complex needs. We are also open to applications from experienced Senior Residential Support Workers looking to advance their careers.
* Knowledge: A strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and best practices in children's residential care.
* Qualifications: A relevant social care or management qualification at Level 3 or higher.
* Leadership Skills: The ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team to deliver outstanding care.
* Commitment: A genuine passion for empowering young people and a commitment to creating a positive, nurturing environment.
* Flexibility: You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle. Sleep-in shifts are required, with an additional payment of £55 per sleep-in.
