The Mission: Humanoids for the Real World Founded in 2019, Extend Robotics is a well-funded start-up that is not only building groundbreaking robotics technology; we are leading the charge in using Humanoid Robotics to deliver real world impact in the Entertainment and Experience Industry, growing our customers’ revenues and cutting their operating costs. Following successful deployments in manufacturing and agricultural markets, you will be leading our work to expand into a new market, helping us iterate our offering to find Product Market Fit and generate a new revenue stream for the business. Selling Humanoid Experiences You’ll be helping us iterate and package ready-to-deploy solutions using world-class hardware like Unitree G1 and MagicLab Gen1. Durations vary from one-day rentals up to mid-term leases. We offer our customers Robot-as-a-Service solutions, deploying humanoid robots to deliver: Guided tours to visitors Entertainment shows and choreographed dances for events Experiences for the public to interact with humanoids. Training packages And much more Your Key Responsibilities Market Segmentation: Identify customers that meet our ideal customer profile, experiment and iterate our pitch to the industry and close deals with UK-based hospitality, retail, and corporate entertainment. CRM Management: Document all customer interactions in a CRM to identify trends and build KPIs to measure how our customer acquisition cost and time to market develop as the market matures. Product-Market Fit Testing: Act as our primary feedback loop. You’ll be learning which packages resonate most with clients. End-to-End Sales: From initial "Taster" rentals (min. £5k) to long-term leases and full humanoid sales, you will hit your sales target and create the launch pad for growth through expanding with your early land customers. Bridge to colleagues: Recognize when a client’s needs exceed "simple" products and seamlessly transition them to your colleagues. Event Management: Occasionally coordinate students/on-site support for "managed show" rentals to ensure a flawless customer experience. Who You Are: Experienced selling technical products to the UK Entertainment/Experience market: You are comfortable in reaching out to relevant people within the market, understand decision-making cycles, and always focus on being effective. A driven sales spirit: You have an entrepreneurial curiosity. You are creative and enjoy building a business by reaching out to people, asking questions, spotting opportunities, and converting prospects into deals. You want to engage with the market and drive your own success. Agile & Adaptive: The humanoid space moves fast. You embrace the dynamics and are comfortable with an evolving portfolio and "learning by doing." Clear Upside: While you will be rewarded for your success in selling ‘humanoid packages’, you’ll also earn from cross-selling opportunities into our high-tier engineering services. The Future, Today: You are selling physical experiences: walking, talking AI that changes how people interact with technology. Application Requirements: 5 years’ experience selling products or services into the experience or entertainment market. A strong track record using a CRM effectively to generate actionable insights on your sales process. Experience launching a new product or service (ideally with a technical element) into a new market. A strong technical acumen and interest in robotics and/or AI, evidenced through your educational, extracurricular, or career background. Desirable Experience: Experience achieving product market fit for a new product in a new market and iterating the sales process from an exploratory mode to a growth/scale-up mode. Experience working in a start-up or small team where many processes are under development or missing.
