GM61 is looking for a capable and motivated IT Technician to support and enhance our IT operations. Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will take ownership of key systems including our service desk, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security—ensuring full compliance and robust protection against threats. You will also be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining Azure environments to deliver 24/7 uptime and high availability. Your role will include contributing to IT projects such as device builds and client rollouts, and providing remote support via TeamViewer. Key Responsibilities Manage and triage service desk tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and excellent user support. Build and configure Windows 11 devices using Intune. Package and deploy applications via Intune; maintain compliance and security baselines. Administer Microsoft 365 to support Cyber Essentials compliance and overall security. Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure environments, ensuring 24/7 uptime, high availability, and resilience. Provide remote support using TeamViewer and attend occasional on-site visits. Assist with customer onboarding and implementation of Azure-hosted solutions. Support IT projects such as device rollouts, configuration, and system changes. Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and asset records. Monitor endpoint protection to ensure devices are secure, patched, and virus-free. Help maintain Cyber Essentials compliance across systems. Report and escalate potential threats or incidents promptly. Skills and Qualifications Required 2–4 years of IT support experience. Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration. Experience with Azure environment management (deployment, monitoring, maintenance). Awareness of cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection. Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g. TeamViewer). Basic understanding of Docker containers (desirable, not essential). Ability to manage priorities and work to agreed SLAs. Personal Qualities Required Proactive and technically capable with a willingness to learn. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
