Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician / Shift Technician
Location: Market Drayton – Butter Plant
Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 6-6)
Salary: £56,160.00 per annum
We are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join our high-performing team at the Market Drayton Butter Plant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Technician or Shift Technician to step into a role where they can make a real impact in a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
What we are looking for in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician:
1. Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
2. Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Engineering Technician, or Shift Technician in a fast-moving manufacturing or logistics setting
3. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (HNC level or equivalent)
4. Familiarity with automation and CI tools is a plus
5. Solid background in maintenance and reliability engineering
Key responsibilities of the Engineering Technician role:
6. Deliver high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the site
7. Rapidly diagnose faults and restore equipment to service
8. Identify root causes and implement cost-effective solutions
9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and FMEA activities
10. Work with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
11. Apply basic automation skills for fault finding and resolution
