 
        Description The Role We’re looking for a Cyber Insights Analyst to join our global Cyber Insights & Analytics team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights that improve underwriting decisions and strengthen our underwriting framework. You’ll work across policy, claims, submission, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response data, using modern data platforms and analytics techniques to deliver real impact. Over the last couple of years we have been making real strides developing our data strategy and are now looking for someone to support us in reaching the next level. This is an exciting role for someone with a few years of experience to take the step in their career. Key Responsibilities Build & maintain dashboards and MI to monitor underwriting controls and support audits. Automate and own reporting for underwriting class and product leaders Investigate queries relating to underwriting management and performance Understand challenges for business stakeholders and to structure advanced analytical solutions by Design, development, and validate predictive models to inform our underwriting Collaborate with internal data engineering teams on the design, development and maintenance of Azure Databricks pipelines Contribute to the strategic development of our data strategy Help identify data issues, specifying fixes, improvements and checks. Support our proactive services team in the automation of data driven deliverables Collaborate with our internal data and operations team to ensure we adhere to group governance and practices Partner with underwriters and actuaries to embed insights into decision-making and strategy Present findings and actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through dashboards, visual presentations, or management reports. Keep abreast of emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in machine learning, AI, and insurance analytics Skills Experience in data science role or advanced analytics. Ability to design and develop interactive dashboards and reporting tools Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of and experience with data engineering and modelling, ETL processes, and building/maintaining data pipelines Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and inquisitive mindset. Strong Python and SQL experience and skills, comfortable handling large data sets of structured and unstructured data Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques and familiarity with modern machine learning/AI libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow). Strong communication skills to translate analytics into business insight. Ideally you will have experience or a strong interest in cyber risk and be aware of current and emerging trends. Previous exposure to (re)insurance or financial risk data, including underwriting, claims, or exposure management would be an advantage.
