Location: Lancashire Contract: Long term Hours: Monday – Friday 13:00–17:30 & Saturday mornings (25.5 hrs/week) Salary: Pay as scale About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Sports Coach (specialising in Hockey or Netball) to join our dynamic PE & Games Department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and delivering our vibrant sports programme, inspiring students across a wide age and ability range. Hockey and Netball dominate the Autumn and Spring terms, with Cricket, Athletics, and Football featuring in the Summer term. With a strong Saturday fixture list, mid-week games, and a well-supported co-curricular programme, this role offers a varied and rewarding challenge. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality coaching in Hockey or Netball, inspiring and motivating students. Support PE & Games Department activities, including lessons, fixtures, and co-curricular clubs. Assist in the ongoing development of the girls’ games programme under the direction of the Head of Girls’ Games. Encourage participation and promote sporting excellence across the School. Represent School in fixtures, tournaments, and school events. About You We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about sport, with expertise in Hockey or Netball. Has experience coaching young people across a range of ages and abilities. Can motivate, inspire, and build enthusiasm for school sport. Is flexible, reliable, and a strong team player.
