Wheldon Infants and Nursery school is looking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Afterschool Club Assistants to join the team as soon as possible.
Wheldon has recently been inspected by OFSTED and maintained its GOOD rating.

We are looking for dynamic After School Club Assistants to work in our club which currently runs Monday to Thursday between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. We offer an excellent opportunity for a keen individual to join our team
The hours: Monday to Thursday 3PM to 6PM – term time.
You will work closely with the teaching staff supporting children with their learning and behavioural needs.
We are a local authority-maintained school and work with a range of partners and other local authority schools across the district.
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, with a kind and friendly nature. And who are highly motivated and hardworking. You do not need to have experience of working in a school environment as training will be given in terms of Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene
The role includes supervising children on arrival to the club and throughout the time they spend in club, working within the guidelines of safeguarding children as well as Health and Safety regulations. Interaction with parents and teachers is integral to the role.
Your creative ideas and input to develop activities and games will be part of the role.
