Patient Administrator - Front of House/Reception
Location: The Meriden Hospital, Coventry.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time). Salary: £24,434 per year.
Overview
We have an opportunity for a Patient Administrator to join our Administration department at The Meriden Hospital, part of Circle Health Group.
The role involves supporting the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey and ensuring the Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed.
Duties
* Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
* Ensure the Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed to provide an efficient, professional and standard service to all patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
* Ensure all patient queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
* Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
* Approve electronic bookings received via the relevant system and update any booking received via email.
* Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act; ensure appropriate measures are taken for patients, relatives, visitors, hospital staff and contractors.
* Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Qualifications
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A‑C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
* Proficient PC skills, including use of software and systems.
* Basic financial awareness.
* Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment advantageous.
* Front of House/Reception experience essential.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
