Key Skills / Experience:
We are looking for mechanically minded individuals who can work independently and within a team environment. Key requirements include:
Essential Skills:
• Proficient in hands-on mechanical repair and servicing
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload within allocated hours
• Basic understanding of workplace Health & Safety principles
• Flexible with working hours as needed
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
• A valid UK driving licence
Desirable Skills:
• City & Guilds Craft Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• Manufacturer certification for servicing commercial vehicle/trailer suspensions
• Experience working on commercial trailers or tail-lifts
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Repair / Service Workshop Operative, your responsibilities will include:
• Servicing and repairing refrigerated trailers and tail-lifts according to company standards
• Delivering high-quality, detailed workmanship on every job
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
• Supporting the team in achieving workshop productivity and quality goals
• Taking part in training to enhance your technical skills and knowledge
