To be responsible to the ESOL Curriculum Manager for the management, development, delivery, and monitoring of all aspects of ESOL programmes across the Service. Additionally, to support the Curriculum Manager in the overall management of the Service.
* Assist in the development and management of the staff team, ensuring the implementation of all Service policies.
* Identify new developments and initiatives within the Service.
* Assist with data and financial monitoring procedures.
* Contribute to planning and reviewing the team's Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan, in line with the Service Plan and Directorate and Corporate objectives.
* Ensure curriculum development and quality improvement within the curriculum area.
Qualifications and Skills
* Relevant teaching qualification at level 4 (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, B.Ed.)
* Minimum of Level 4/5 ESOL subject specialism qualification
* Excellent organisational skills to assist with the development and management of teaching and learning within the Post 19 sector, with practitioner experience relevant to the post.
* Knowledge of ICT/digital skills
