HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in the Swindon area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. To be considered for this role, you MUST have a minimum of 24 months of continues commercial driving experience. Shifts: Working 5 days out of 7 (ROTA PROVIDED) Start times from 7am, 8am and 11am Pay rates: £17.18 - £34.36 per hour Benefits: As a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee Well-being Program Rates of Hourly Pay (PAYE): Basic: £17.18 Overtime after eight hours: £25.77 Saturday: £25.77 Sunday: £34.36 Bank Holiday: £34.36 Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials and home interior improvements products (not bathrooms and kitchens) Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills: As a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver you will need to: Must be able to work as a team Have a minimum of 24 months continuous experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes HIAB (ALLMI) Qualification Card Must be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant) Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training: Six-hour online training must be completed before attending assessment Drivers Assessment will have to be completed After successful Assessment, there will be an on-the-job training Apply: If you are looking for reliable work as a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver in Swindon apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
