FMS (Facility Monitoring Systems Ltd) serves businesses in diverse and demanding markets where environmental monitoring is mission-critical and strong, trusted business relationships are essential. FMS is a Gold Channel Partner to industry-leading airborne particle counter manufacturer TSI Inc. and the sole Channel Partner for the TSI range of contamination control products in the UK and Ireland. FMS is also the exclusive UK partner to monitoring software platform developer ViGIE. In January 2025, FMS was acquired by Trescal, a world leader in calibration services. About the Role Joining our team as the Business Unit Manager, for Facility Monitoring Systems (FMS) you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the business unit based in Malvern. The role encompasses leadership of a cross-functional team to ensure high-quality delivery of monitoring solutions, development of long-term business strategies, and management of client and stakeholder relationships. Experience in the facility monitoring, instrumentation, clean room construction / management, or building management system sectors is strongly preferred. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L management. Excellent leadership, people management and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of quality and regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, ISO, FDA). Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; or by demonstrated experience. Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach. Familiarity with data acquisition, control systems, and industrial IoT technologies. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
