Job Purpose
* To support the manager in delivering quality service across the unit
* To ensure a strong relationship is kept with clients & customers
* To provide and maintain the highest standards of food & drink service
* To effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided
* To communicate effectively with your manager and team
Key responsibilities and accountabilities Food and Service Development
* Coordinate the entire operation of the catering unit during scheduled shifts.
* Meet and greet customers and be a presence in the unit.
* Brief all staff regarding food and service standards to ensure that all services provided are of the highest standards.
* Continuously monitor the service and food quality, providing feedback to the chefs/service team to maintain high standards.
* Check stock levels and order supplies.
* Assist in any area of the catering unit as needed.
* Create a positive team atmosphere & customer environment.
* Configure counter & display spaces attractively.
* Ensure QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team.
* Assist with administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within catering.
* Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
