Are you an experienced Facilities/Health & Safety leader with a passion for driving cultural change, enhancing compliance frameworks and shaping strategic safety performance across a complex property portfolio? We're supporting a leading real estate organisation in the search for a Property Health, Safety & Compliance Manager to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organisation-wide influence. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will:
1. Lead the organisation’s Health & Safety strategy, governance and compliance framework across a varied property portfolio.
2. Chair internal H&S committees, set agendas, drive cross-team alignment, and ensure effective escalation of risk.
3. Oversee statutory obligations including fire safety, building compliance, contractor management, water hygiene, asbestos, and emergency preparedness.
4. Provide leadership to the internal H&S/Compliance team—developing capability, ensuring competence, and driving continuous improvement.
5. Coordinate and challenge external managing agents to ensure consistent, high-quality compliance delivery.
6. Monitor legislation, manage audits, lead incident investigations, and ensure readiness for Building Safety Act obligations (including HRBs).
