Our Darlington based Finance team are looking to add a Treasury Clerk to their team on a full time basis with the option of hybrid working up to 2 days per week. The role will include assisting our Finance colleagues in processing bank transactions and purchase ledger invoices, as well as assisting with checking petty cash invoices. The role: Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies Support the month-end close process by ensuring all transactional data is complete and accurate Review and validate submitted claims against receipts and policies, ensuring compliance Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding and authorisation in line with internal controls Liaise with internal departments and external customers or suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries Support year-end procedures and audits Work closely with finance colleagues and other departments to support overall financial processes Knowledge and Experience: AAT qualification (or equivalent experience) would be beneficial Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel Previous experience with accounting systems in a finance role would be beneficial Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with both finance and non-finance colleagues Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Want to know what we can offer you?
