Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Service Delivery Engineer to join a busy on‑site IT support team in Cumbria. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career or looking to build hands‑on experience in a real working environment. You'll be fully supported with training and development, making this an ideal role if you have a basic IT understanding and a strong willingness to learn.
What you’ll be doing
* Providing on‑site deskside support to end users (hardware & software issues)
* Setting up and delivering IT equipment (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.)
* Troubleshooting everyday IT problems in a Windows environment
* Supporting users face‑to‑face to keep them up and running
* Managing your own support tickets and working to targets
* Assisting with hardware rollouts, upgrades, and other IT projects
* Helping with simple break‑fix tasks on devices (training provided)
What we’re looking for
* Basic IT knowledge (Windows, hardware, Microsoft applications)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Good problem‑solving ability
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (travel between sites required)
* Must be 21+
* Happy to work on‑site full time
