As the Category Manager for the Cloud & InfoSec categories, you will be responsible for supporting WTW across the business for all procurement aligned to cyber security and Cloud operations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies related to end user & collaboration services. Knowledge of how global software and licensing works and experience/background specifically in information security or cloud migration are essential to meet the business and stakeholder needs. A strong knowledge of wider major Technology providers is also desired.
You must have experience in building and maintaining key business stakeholder relationships within the category and serve as a trusted advisor and partner for them on information security and cloud maturity-related matters for WTW. The Category Manager for Cloud & InfoSec will support the Head of Enterprise Technology Procurement with relevant category planning for the business.
The successful candidate will also have a creative and positive approach to problem-solving and a strong collaborative approach with other team members and stakeholders. A strong, analytical mindset with a meticulous approach to reporting and a willingness to learn and develop will be key to success in this role.
The scope of the role also requires you to create and maintain up-to-date category plans and provide key monthly and ad hoc reporting as required by your line manager. You will also work closely with Procurement operations and analytics teams to review and access spend data and trends. Experience in negotiating large projects is desirable. This role requires managing multiple large and complex projects simultaneously and suits those with a ‘get it done’ mentality.
The Role:
1. Management of procurement activities including sourcing, commercial negotiations, and project management for Cloud & InfoSec to mitigate risks and achieve financial outcomes.
2. Accountable for management and delivery of projects including renewals, consolidations, and other sourcing activities.
3. Provide guidance and manage escalations on these efforts.
4. Maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.
5. Prioritize WTW, clients, and integrity in all business dealings.
6. Leverage vendor relationships through negotiation to secure best-in-class products/services while reducing total cost of ownership, with a proven track record of year-on-year delivery.
7. Lead high-profile sourcing initiatives as required.
