Position Summary:
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front desk operations to ensure the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction. This role is responsible for supervising front desk staff, managing daily operations, resolving guest concerns, and assisting with training, scheduling, and performance management. The Assistant Front Office Manager acts as a key point of contact for guests and ensures that front office functions — including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries — are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities include maintaining smooth front desk operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to enhance guest experiences, and stepping in as acting manager in the absence of the Front Office Manager. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
