Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner
The ICST is a CAMHS team established to enhance risk support for young people by providing outreach and intensive intervention to support CYP with complex needs.
The service operates at the interface of the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team and inpatient admissions. It prioritizes CYP with recurring crisis presentations and high-risk behaviors.
This service aims to meet the needs of young people with complex needs, emotional dysregulation, trauma histories, ASD, or Intellectual Disability, for whom inpatient admission might cause longer-term detriment by increasing risk.
These young people often experience emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, and high-risk behaviors. The team offers intensive, psychologically informed support to ensure community-based care.
The team provides an enhanced care model, working alongside existing services to develop holistic, personalized care plans using trauma-informed approaches.
