Salary: £36,000 - £43,000 Basic (OTE £50k plus)

Job Description An established, accredited provider of fire protection and security systems is seeking an experienced multi‑disciplined Fire & Security Engineer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will work with a range of commercial and high‑quality clients, carrying out installation, commissioning, maintenance, servicing, and fault‑finding activities across fire and security systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault‑finding of fire and security systems.
- Competent in fire alarm systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
- Experience with both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with industry‑standard fire and security software.
- Experience working with a range of intruder alarm platforms.
- Experience with IP CCTV systems.
- Experience with access control systems.
- Experience with emergency lighting systems.
- Strong understanding of current British Standards relating to fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and emergency lighting.
- Ability to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and recommend solutions independently.
- Good IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rota.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Fire industry training certifications preferred.
- Proven experience with IP‑based systems and networking.
- Training and development opportunities will be provided to maintain knowledge of current standards and technologies.
Person Specifications
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- ECS or CSCS card desirable.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
- Able to pass industry vetting requirements and enhanced DBS checks.
- PASMA and IPAF certifications desirable.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Logical, diligent, and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Good communication and administrative abilities.
