I am working with a global food business who are seeking an experienced Commercial Trader/Buyer, to lead growth within their Beef & Lamb categories.
This role focuses on imported products from key global markets, managing customer and supplier relationships, driving sales, and leading innovation projects.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver category growth strategies.
* Build strong relationships with UK customers and global suppliers.
* Lead NPD projects aligned with consumer trends.
* Analyse market data to identify opportunities and risks.
* Plan and manage new global supply chains.
About you:
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder skills.
* Knowledge of UK protein markets (Retail, Wholesale, Foodservice).
* Experience with imported beef & lamb supply
