Contract Support Officer – Environment Agency

As a Contract Support Officer, you will work as part of the Commercial Assurance service to support Project and Contract Management Integrated Delivery Hubs across England, helping create a better place through excellence in project and programme management.
Key Responsibilities
* Use agreed tools and processes to undertake contract support activities, including uploading contracts, raising purchase orders, processing payment requests, and investigating anomalies to ensure suppliers are paid within agreed timeframes.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Commercial Service Managers to support efficient contract administration.
Qualifications and Experience
* English and Maths GCSE essential.
* Confidence in using MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience in financial administration, including processing invoices and purchase orders.
* Passion for interpreting numerical or financial data, spotting issues, and confidently reaching solutions while maintaining positive working relationships.

The contractual base location can be flexible within England, with an expectation of some co‑located working in an Environment Agency Hub or delivery partner office.
