We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in the field of human resources.
Key duties
1. Updating and maintaining the HR data systems.
2. Assist in recruitment and selection.
3. HR Administration for the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
4. Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation, and all other formal agreements.
5. Build and develop effective working relationships within the business.
6. Attend formal meetings as required, support investigations and assist in the preparation of paperwork.
7. Ensure accurate recording of all HR case work, including minutes, emails, letters, and formal statements.
8. Undertake all required project work.
9. Support the development of strong communication and feedback channels with all employees up to and including stakeholder level.
10. Co-ordinate, develop and provide appropriate training in respect of employment related issues.
11. Ensure HR knowledge is up to date including legislation, best practice and HR trends.
12. Engage in promoting the values of the business.
13. Comply with equal opportunities, health and safety and all other company policies at all times.
14. Ensure the principles and requirements of the general data protection regulation are adhered to at all times when handling employee’s information and all other documents as required.
This role would suit a strong administrator looking for a move in to the field of HR. Level 3 CIPD would be beneficial but not essential
Hours are 9 – 5 with a 30 min lunch
