A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate House Porter to join the Housekeeping team at The Berkeley.

The Berkeley is perfectly positioned between Hyde Park, fashionable Knightsbridge and the residential neighbourhood of Belgravia. Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, and The Berkeley Café.

As a House Porter you will assist the housekeeping department to keep all rooms and equipment well maintained, cleaned and up to the hotels standards.

Main responsibilities of the House Porterinclude, but are not limited to:

* Have a general knowledge of the hotels layout and be able to communicate hotel services to guests when requested by them.
* Report any soiled or damaged furniture, fixtures, fittings, and equipment to the Supervisor.
* Clean and maintain service and storage areas, corridors, guest, and staff lifts.
* Move, remove, lift, and install beds, cots, furniture, mattresses, etc. as required and directed by Supervisor.
* Make sure all the maid services, waiter services and night manager cupboards are well stocked and cleaned.
* Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
