The Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, compliance with regulations, and supporting the business with critical financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
* Produce and reconcile journal entries and balance sheet accounts
* Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis against actual performance
* Manage tax compliance, including VAT, corporation tax, and other regulatory requirements
* Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
* Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning
Key Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified or QBE
* Prior experience in a Financial Accountant role
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
