- Canterbury Job Title: School Cover Supervisor Location: Canterbury Start Date: ASAP & Ongoing Salary: £100.00 to £120.00 per day (PAYE, Pension, Weekly Pay) Academics are currently working with a highly respected school in the town of Canterbury, Kent who are looking for a cover supervisor to start ASAP.
This exciting role will give the successful applicant the chance to gain classroom experience and work with children in a variety of lessons.
Your role will be covering classes in the absence of the teacher, using prepared plans and resources to support children to complete their work.
This role would suit graduates who are thinking about entering the Education sector.
Please note you will not be required to plan or assess the pupils work.
In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have An undergraduate degree Have good behaviour management skills Be able to carefully follow lesson plans left by staff Be able to use their initiative and adapt lessons where necessary for children's understanding.
A good knowledge of ICT would be advantageous.
Minimum requirements Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
