What's the role and what are we looking for? We are looking for a Production Operative working a rotational days/afternoons shift pattern, 39 hours per week (times below inclusive of shift handover) on our state-of-the-art Manufacturing line. You will receive a competitive salary of £12.70 per hour 26.33% shift allowance (£32,537 per annum inclusive of shift). Current Shift pattern (Rotational) Days = Monday to Thursday 05:45-14:00, Friday 05:45-13:00. Afternoons = Monday to Thursday 13:45-22:00, Friday 12:45-20:00 Your responsibilities as a Production Operative will include running our production processes efficiently, ensuring safety, quality, quantity, cost, and time all meet operational standards, reducing waste and down time and supporting the development and improvement of all production processes. Key Skills; Experience of working within a fast paced production environment A sound understanding of Health and Safety practices A methodical approach to product quality and machinery care Analytical and mechanical capabilities are advantageous but not essential in order to identify issues within the production process Good communication skills are essential Be a good team player with a “Can do attitude” To be familiar with reporting tools such as Microsoft Office and have the capability to operate machinery using touch screen panels (HMI) SAP knowledge would be beneficial but not essential Strong at fault finding and problem solving What do we offer? 25 days Annual Leave (Plus Bank Holidays) Competitive salary of £12.70 per hour 26.33% shift allowance (£32,537 per annum inclusive of shift).
