Learning Support Assistant - Lymington
Full-Time | ASAP Start | Temp to Perm Opportunity
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?
Do you thrive in a dynamic, rewarding, and supportive environment?
If so - we'd love to hear from you!
An inspiring SEN school nestled in the beautiful New Forest area is looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their dedicated team. This full-time position offers immediate starts and the chance to secure a long-term or temp-to-perm role for the right candidates.
The school supports pupils aged 7-19 with Asperger's Syndrome and a range of associated needs linked to the autistic spectrum. You'll be working closely with students in small groups and 1:1 settings, helping to unlock their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.
What we're looking for:
Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach - with the ability to adapt and respond to challenges
Confidence in managing varying levels of behaviour
A true team player who's passionate about supporting every child's journey
This is a role that's as challenging as it is rewarding. The children at this school need someone who can show up with consistency, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a difference. In return, you'll be part of an experienced, supportive team who will provide full training and guidance along the way.
All applicants must have an enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
Interested? Apply now and take the first step toward a deeply fulfilling role in SEN education. Whether you're an experienced Learning Support Assistant in Lymington or looking to develop your career in SEN, we want to hear from you.
