Job Description
Responsibilities for the Product Engineer include:
1. Lead new product development from concept to launch.
2. Design and develop molding processes, tooling, and equipment parameters.
3. Create detailed engineering drawings and BOMs using CAD software.
4. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to source and evaluate materials.
5. Coordinate with manufacturing for smooth design-to-production transitions.
6. Utilize ERP systems for product data and scheduling.
7. Conduct design and process reviews to identify improvements.
8. Troubleshoot technical issues related to molding processes and materials.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Product Engineer should have:
10. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
11. Strong knowledge of molding processes (compression, transfer, injection).
12. Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
13. Experience with ERP systems and project management principles.
14. Knowledge of elastomers, additives, and curing processes.
15. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
16. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical challenges.
17. Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other engineering analysis tools is a plus.
18. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
