An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Norwich, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.
This nursing home is registered for older people, employing a team of staff skilled in person-centred nursing and dementia care.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life.
* Work closely with your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators.
* Report to the regional Operations Manager, creating and leading a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding'.
* Manage people and processes while liaising closely with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of managing a care home.
* A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and the ability to work towards achieving Outstanding.
* Good communication skills and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, including internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
* A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
* Enthusiasm and passion for developing a high level of person-centred care.
* Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm. In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive the following generous benefits:
