Purpose of Role
We are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting the Transport for London (TfL) contract across South West London.
Job Description
This is a mobile role where you’ll travel between sites using public transport. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring assets are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities, including fire alarm testing, lighting checks, and water temperature testing/flushing
2. Ensure all maintenance work is completed within agreed timeframes and to required compliance standards
3. Perform general building maintenance across multiple sites, including inspections and minor repair works
4. Proactively identify and address defects to prevent asset failure
5. Complete compliance-related checks such as fire door inspections and water hygiene testing
6. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns to minimise service disruption
7. Accurately record all maintenance activities using CAFM or maintenance management systems
8. Support statutory and regulatory compliance through inspections, testing, and reporting
9. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies, carrying out hazard reporting and safe working practices
Essential Qualifications/Skills
10. Experience in general maintenance within commercial or public sector environments
11. Knowledge of PPM processes and compliance tasks
12. Understanding of fire safety systems, water hygiene, and basic building services
13. Ability to work independently across multiple sites
14. Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
15. Good awareness of Health & Safety regulation
