We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our healthcare team. Duties
* Manage patient appointments and maintain the scheduling system efficiently.
* Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous manner.
* Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Assist with billing processes and insurance claims as necessary.
* Coordinate communication between healthcare professionals and patients.
* Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and organisational policies.
Qualifications
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
* Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in using office software and electronic medical record systems.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
