Position: Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant (LSA)
Location: Cambridge
Contract: Full‑time Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Start Date: ASAP
Qualification: SEN experience and ability to provide personal care
Responsibilities
* Support clients with daily activities, hobbies, and community integration.
* Provide respectful and dignified personal care, including assistance with toileting.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
* Foster a safe, positive, and empowering environment for all clients.
* Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential client records.
Preferred Skills
* Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities.
* Knowledge of care planning systems and key working principles.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong teamwork abilities and capacity to use own initiative.
* Good IT skills for documentation and record‑keeping.
* A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.

* Comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
* Ability to engage with and build rapport with students.
* Creative, proactive and flexible supporting style.
* Experience with SEND or knowledge of learning difficulties.
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
* A professional and collaborative team member.
