Lough Neagh Nursing Home is a recently refurbished family run care home situated on the shores of Lough Neagh. Our 26 bed nursing home comprises of general nursing and a small dementia nursing unit.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Nurse Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the care home.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily nursing operations and manage staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
* Complete patient assessments and care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
* Facilitate communication between healthcare teams, patients, and families to promote optimal care.
* Manage staffing schedules and training for personnel, including specialized areas such as hospice and dementia care.
* Ensuring RQIA compliance
* Manage budgets and the financial effectiveness of the care home
* Recruit, train and manage staff
Requirements:
* A registered nurse with current registration on Part 1 of the NMC Register
* A minimum of 5 years experience managing a nursing home
* Strong knowledge of Care Industry and regulatory Framework
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety Care Act 2008
* Great leadership and organisational skills
* Ability to develop and motivate team
* Ability to delegate and prioritise
* Affective time management and good record keeping
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a true compassion for others
* Stable Work History
