We are looking for a compassionate, confident and dynamic person who want to make a difference in the lives of homeless people. Our role is to provide a safe place to stay and to access support for people who have substance use issues and complex needs. The service delivery model is rooted in the harm reduction approach, based on trauma-informed practice, is strength-based and uses person-centred approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with clients and keyworkers to ensure residents at our Rapid Access Homeless Accommodation are supported to move in and maintain their stay until suitable move-on accommodation is available.
2. Manage and promote payment of service charges for the accommodation
3. Prevent eviction or abandonment through supporting residents to maintain their responsibilities and uphold their rights.
4. Work individually and in groups to develop skills to support long-term tenancy sustainment.
