GSL Education are hiring, in collaboration with schools across Sheffield serving the S5 and S9 communities, to appoint a passionate Science Teacher who can deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. The Role: As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons that encourage students to question, investigate, and think critically. You will create a positive learning environment where pupils feel confident exploring scientific concepts across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Key Responsibilities of Science Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned science lessons. Encourage practical investigations and hands-on learning. Support students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Maintain a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum. Who We’re Looking For: QTS or PGCE with a specialism in Science. Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
