Business Account Executive
Location: Itec House, CF11 8TT.
Contract: Full-time, permanent.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm.
Salary banding: £26,724-£28,800.
Responsibilities
* Generate apprenticeship starts with new and existing clients through sales visits, appointments, presentations, networking, mail‑shot activities, telephone sales, cold calling and follow‑up on leads.
* Work with the Business Account Manager to formulate account plans for designated clients, setting targets for customer satisfaction, retention, and future sales growth.
* Take full ownership of clients from lead generation through to apprentice start and development into key account management.
* Achieve business profile requirements and sales targets in line with contractual requirements and key performance indicators.
* Deal with speculative calls, new enquiries, aftercare and client service calls in a timely and professional manner.
* Support clients in planning recruitment and training strategy, including enrolment, launch events and induction.
* Coordinate with the onboarding team to ensure all paperwork for apprentice sign‑up is completed, compliant and facilitates effective starts.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a target‑driven commercial environment.
* Sales experience and tele‑sales experience.
* Networking skills.
* Presentation and report writing skills.
* Experience in client relationships management, customer service or sales.
* Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
