We are looking to add an enthusiastic and motivated individual into our finance team. The Finance Assistant provides essential support to the finance department by performing routine clerical, accounting, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for candidates starting their finance careers/ returning to work after time off and seeking hands-on experience in accounting processes, data entry, and financial reporting. Principal duties and responsibilities * Finance Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the finance department. * Processing/ Checking contractor timesheets * Inputting contractor placements into internal system * Email welcome packs to new contractors * Run a contractor payroll on internal system * Raise invoices on Xero * Entering bank payments * Reporting – use Excel for daily, weekly, and monthly analysis * Provide administrative support to the finance team as required. Skills * Must have basic Excel experience * Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy * Excellent communications skills, including good proficiency levels with Microsoft tools * Excellent time management is essential. * Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks in tandem and prioritise accordingly Reports to * Payroll Manager Renumeration * Salary is £36,500 (pro rata to 3 days per week)
