About the Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Traffic Management Supervisor for ongoing contract work across Galway and the wider Southern Ireland region. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Traffic Management Supervisor seeking competitive hourly rates, consistent work, and long-term opportunities.
As a Traffic Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all traffic management operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Irish regulations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Traffic Management Supervisor, your duties will include:
* Setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems (signs, cones, barriers, lights, etc.)
* Supervising traffic management operations on live construction and roadworks sites
* Ensuring the safety of road users, pedestrians, and all site personnel
* Conducting site risk assessments and ensuring compliance with traffic management plans
* Maintaining strict adherence to health & safety procedures and site rules
* Communicating clearly with site teams, supervisors, and members of the public
* Working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends where required

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this Traffic Management Supervisor position, you must have:
* A valid SLG 3-Day Ticket (Signing, Lighting & Guarding – mandatory)
* Proven experience working in traffic management, construction, or a similar environment
* Strong understanding of health & safety legislation
* A full, clean driving licence
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
