Summary

We are seeking a Purchasing Administrator for Maternity cover to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our procurement processes and maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play a key role in driving our business forward.

Responsibilities

* Raise and track purchase orders to ensure timely supplies to meet customer demands.
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
* Maintain checks on existing unfulfilled orders, keeping purchasing records updated and communicating delays to customers and other departments.
* Utilize Sage 200 systems for inventory management, order processing, receiving goods in and matching supplier invoices.
* Maintain accurate records of prices, orders and Invoices.
* Raising or assisting with supplier, customer and stock queries.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
* Answer & deal with incoming calls to completion.
* Reconcile credit card and supplier statements.
* Qualifications & Requirements
* Motivated Individual that takes pride in their work with good attention to detail.
* Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
* Sage experience preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills & a confident telephone manner.
* Excellent analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
