We are currently recruiting to a full -time Housekeeper for the Medical Assessment Unit at Chorley Hospital.
We are looking for a highly motivated Housekeeper with a positive "can-do" attitude to join our amazing team.
Our unit is a very busy and demanding but has a friendly warm atmosphere. We have an established team who strive to provide an excellent standard of care to all patients. Working closely as a team and deal with the day-to-day pressures with positivity and high levels of energy.
The position would suit a motivated and organised individual with good communication skills, who would enjoy the challenge of a demanding, but rewarding work environment. You will need to be an excellent team player with a committed and professional approach, playing a key role in maintaining a clean and safe environment; You will provide support with basic administration duties, maintenance of stock including ordering & stock rotation and the provision of refreshments to patients.
Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting or working with the public would be desirable although support and training will be given to the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job

There will be an expectation of 7 day cover alongside another housekeeper already in post. This role will be daytime working.

1. Educated to GCSE level
