This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Corporate Development Department as a Business Intelligence Analyst.
Our Business Intelligence team is transforming how Northumbria Police access and use data.
We are looking for someone with excellent analytical and communication skills; with the ability to build rapport and understand the needs of internal customers, make the best use of data and analytical methods, and then effectively communicate findings to inform business decisions.
What you’ll do
1. Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels across the organisation to identify creative, analytical solutions that support effective data-led decision making.
2. Use knowledge and understanding of statistical and other analytical approaches to deliver high quality products that bring substantial business benefit.
3. Extract, manipulate and interrogate data to obtain insight; building, validating and testing analytical models.
4. Design and build Qlik Sense interactive dashboards; enabling the organisation to use data to gain insight, identify trends and areas for improvement.
5. Contribute to the evaluation of force business change initiatives through the analysis of information and research.
