Job Description - The Role
AMS is a global workforce solutions partner committed to creating inclusive, dynamic, and future-ready workplaces. We help organisations adapt, grow, and thrive in an ever-evolving world by building, shaping, and optimising diverse talent strategies.
We partner with Arup to support their contingent recruitment processes. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.
On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a T alent Acquisition Systems Specialist-Taleo for a contract until 31st Mar 2026 based in London, hybrid.
Purpose of the role:
This is a chance to make a significant, tangible impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of Arup's global recruitment function. You will be the go-to expert for Oracle Taleo, acting not just as a support function, but as a strategic partner to Arup's Talent Acquisition team.
You will have the mandate to drive process improvements and the influence to shape Arup's global systems strategy. This is an opportunity to move beyond system administration and become an enabler of change, a trainer, and a data-driven advisor who helps Arup hire better and smarter.
What you'll do:
Lead system enablement & training: Design, deliver, and continuously improve training sessions and learning materials for Oracle Taleo, empowering our global recruitment community and acting as the first line of expert support for system queries and troubleshooting.
Drive process optimisation & improvement: Proactively analyse recruitment workflows, partner with Talent Acquisition leaders to map current and future state processes and recommend system-based solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.
Deliver actionable data & reporting: Develop, manage, and enhance our recruitment dashboards in Power BI and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), providing critical insights on KPIs to support data-driven decision-making for HR and business leaders.
Champion system governance & change: Influence the Change Request (CR) process, ensuring enhancements align with business priorities, to shape the future of our recruitment technology.
The skills you'll need:
A proven track record in a similar systems role, with deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Taleo as a core recruitment platform.
Demonstrable experience in data management and visualisation, with strong skills in building and maintaining reports and dashboards, ideally using Power BI or Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven success in collaborating with recruiters and HR professionals in a complex, international organisation. Previous experience as a recruiter would be a strong plus.
Experience with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Lucid Chart) as well as in designing and delivering systems training, with the ability to translate complex technical changes into clear, user-friendly guidance.
Passionate about optimising recruitment systems and using data to help us attract world-class talent.
A university degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
