About the role:
BSRIA membership provides your organisation with up-to-date information and guidance to help your business perform more effectively, profitably, and deliver more efficient buildings. The Membership Operations Manager role is key to implementing the strategic membership plan, ensuring operational excellence, member engagement, and value. You will oversee the delivery of member events and play a vital role in achieving the plan through successful member operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in the membership engagement programme with targeted key contacts.
* Develop and manage the member events programme, including setup, content, liaison, bookings, and delivery. Attend events as required.
* Manage subscription renewals, invoicing, payments, and collections.
* Coordinate content for membership communications, such as newsletters, activity programmes, and case studies.
* Oversee incoming membership leads, applications, and onboarding processes.
* Coordinate membership resignations according to procedures.
* Gather member and competitor intelligence.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop a member-focused digital experience throughout the membership cycle.
* Maintain operational effectiveness, including member records, systems, and processes.
* Ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional customer service.
* Adhere to membership quality procedures and practices.
* Perform any other duties relevant to the role.
About You:
* Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM, finance, and content management systems).
* Experience in project management or event coordination.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks.
* 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
